WG-acquastop is an emulsion based on elastomeric resins and FibroGrip®, special microfibers and hydrophobic granules for improved mechanical resistance and a rough surface ideal for bonding subsequent adhesives (both cement and paste). It creates an elastic, waterproof membrane that is highly resistant to water, humidity, and atmospheric agents. It is a single-component, quick-drying product (floors can be laid in just a few hours). It absorbs structural movements, promotes adhesion for overlay bonding ("tile on tile"), and provides a strengthening effect on crumbling surfaces (plaster, fiber cement). It is non-toxic to workers.

WHERE TO USE IT

It is used on terraces, balconies, bathrooms and humid environments in general (shower cubicles, kitchens) before laying ceramic tiles,
Marble, concrete, mosaics, stone, or other types of stone. Suitable for interior or exterior use on various substrates: cement screeds, concrete, existing ceramic or marble floors, plaster, fiber cement, brick, stone, terracotta, plasterboard, wood, and insulation panels.

HOW TO USE

On clean, dry, and seasoned surfaces. Apply with a roller, brush, or spatula in two coats, leaving 60 minutes between coats. After about 3 hours, proceed with the installation of the coverings. Insert WG-nastroflex rubber tape into the joints between the floor and the walls.

WARNINGS

Do not use on damp or unseasoned surfaces. WG-acquastop must always be covered with floors or wall coverings. On screeds or walls with rising damp, use WG-acquastop only after first creating a chemical barrier with WB-barrier.
