Fast-setting, polymer-modified, thixotropic, structural cementitious mortar,
fibre-reinforced, certified according to UNI EN 1504-2 and classified R3 according to UNI
EN 1504-3, with controlled hygrometric shrinkage, specific for the restoration, protection and
concrete skimming for applications with thicknesses from 3 to 30 mm
Repair 250 R is a fast-setting, thixotropic, polymer-modified, shrinkage-resistant structural mortar
controlled hygrometric, based on high-strength hydraulic binders, selected aggregates,
special additives and HT fibres. Repair 250 R is specific for the reconstruction, protection or
concrete skimming, applicable in thicknesses ranging from 3 to 30 mm. Repair 250 R reduces
drastically reduces the time required to complete concrete repair work. Formulated
in the new Licata SpA Research and Development laboratories, Repair 250 R is characterised by
easy workability, high adhesion and wetting power, excellent thixotropy, together with rapid
development of high mechanical strengths. Controlled hygrometric shrinkage and setting times
shortened they minimize the formation of cracks, crazing and detachments.
Repair 250 R also meets the requirements of UNI EN 1504-2 according to the principle
1.3 (C) and is also classified R3 according to UNI EN 1504-3.

MAIN FIELDS OF USE
Repair 250 R has been formulated to ensure the best performance in protection restoration interventions.

variable from 3 to 30 mm both by hand and by machine, effectively satisfying all the application needs of the
Construction site practice. The short setting times make it a product suitable for use even at low temperatures.
Its main uses are found in:
- Concrete restoration even with exposed metal rods
- Protection of reinforced concrete structures from carbonation phenomena
- Localized repairs in concrete floors
- Repairs to damaged front panels, corners, edges, grilles, etc.
- Cement infrastructures in general.

CHARACTERISTICS
- Specific for the protection of concrete. Repair 250 R, thanks to its special formulation, prevents penetration
of atmospheric CO2, thus protecting the underlying concrete from the negative consequences of carbonation.
- Quick setting. The use of special accelerating additives drastically reduces finishing times: Repair 250 R is
floatable after 20-30 minutes and paintable after 4-6 hours.
- Easy to work with. The combination of smoothness, easy removal from tools, and ease of working is achieved
thanks to the use of latest generation additives, reducing the difficulties and delays of installation.
- High adhesion strength. Repair 250 R is a polymer-modified mortar (PCC). The adhesion values ​​obtained after exposure to extreme conditions of frost, heat, and chemical aggression demonstrate its long-term reliability in repair work.
- Mechanical strength. High-performance hydraulic binders, selected aggregates with a constant grain size curve, and pozzolanic additions provide high mechanical strength. Repair 250 R fully meets the flexural and compressive strength requirements of R3 of the EN 1504-3 standard.
- Excellent wetting power and thixotropy. The special additives contained in Repair 250 R ensure easy application both vertically and overhead.
- Controlled hygrometric shrinkage. The presence of fibers and the special formulation of Repair 250 R minimize cracking.
- Excellent aesthetic finish. Thanks to the selected aggregates with a constant grain size curve and a maximum head size < 1.5 mm, the finishes created with Repair 250 R allow for painted or decorative treatments even without further processing.
