USE AND INSTALLATION MFT TECH and MFT TECH QUADRA are suitable as a first or finishing layer in multi-layer waterproofing systems for residential and industrial roofs, even under heavy protection. When used as a finishing layer, MFT TECH must be protected with reflective paint, gravel, paving, or another self-protected membrane to avoid direct exposure to UV rays. MFT TECH QUADRA must always be protected with gravel, paving, or another slated membrane (the use of protective paints or varnishes is not recommended on this type of membrane); direct exposure to UV rays should be avoided. MFT TECH MINERAL is suitable as a finishing layer, without further protection, in multi-layer waterproofing systems. Depending on the substrate, it can be applied by torching or mechanically fixing. In any case, it is recommended to prepare the surface to be waterproofed with the bituminous fixative PRIMER W (water-based) or PRIMER S (solvent-based). In any case, for correct installation of the membranes, it is recommended to refer to the Copernit SpA technical documentation.
