Licalastic 120 AC is a single-component, colored, elastic membrane based on water-dispersed acrylic resins, micronized fillers, and state-of-the-art additives. It is specifically designed for waterproofing concrete substrates and for maintaining bituminous membranes. Available in red, white, and gray, it is specifically designed for waterproofing concrete substrates and maintaining bituminous membranes. Formulated in the Licata SpA Research and Development laboratories , it offers excellent adhesion to the most common cementitious substrates used in construction, is extremely easy to apply (horizontal/vertical), and is versatile. Once polymerized, it creates a waterproof, long-lasting barrier that is resistant even in marine or mountain environments. Licalastic 120 AC can be left exposed as it is UV-resistant. Licalastic 120 AC “walkable” version Licalastic 120 AC is also produced in a “walkable” version, enriched with non-slip quartz, proving to be an excellent protector for concrete floors and surfaces not subject to heavy traffic.

MAIN FIELDS OF USE

Licalastic 120 AC finds its field of application in:

  • Maintenance and renovation of fiber cement roofing
  • Maintenance of old butiminous membranes and cement plasters
  • Protection of concrete structures also against ground, vertical surfaces, tiles, bricks, etc.
  • Waterproofing of overhanging structures (such as balcony canopies), flower boxes, gutters, before laying screeds.
  • Precast or cast-in-place concrete
