Description: Highly washable water-based paint for interiors and exteriors based on acrylic resins, post-treated titanium dioxide, fillers, and selected pigments; this formulation allows for a high-quality, long-lasting finish. It is an extremely fine product, easy to apply, with good flow and expansion, a velvety satin finish, and an excellent whiteness.

Color: White. It can be colored with our concentrated dyes and with our DisTinto Tinting System, referring to our Interior Collection. The Pre-dosed Neutral Base is also available for creating strong shades.

Storage: The product must be stored in its original, tightly closed packaging at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Under these conditions, stability is guaranteed for 18 months from the production date.

Substrate preparation: If the wall surfaces are new, make sure they are well seasoned.

On civil plaster and gypsum or plasterboard surfaces, first apply our Fissar insulating-fixative or our Primamano pigmented primer; on particularly absorbent surfaces or those already painted with weak products, apply our Penetrante consolidating primer. On previously painted surfaces, if the paint is firmly anchored to the substrate, Rubens can be applied directly. In the case of previous flaking paintwork, mechanically remove any loose particles and apply a suitable primer. If the substrate has been sanded, remove the resulting layer of dust with a damp cloth.

Product preparation: Mix well before use.

Application method: Brush, roller, spray (both air-mixed and airless)

Dilution: With drinking water.

Brush/roller application: first coat 25-30%, second coat 15-20%

Spray application: 25-35% depending on the machine. A 0.38-0.48 mm (15”-19”) nozzle is recommended - Pressure 150-180 bar. For strong shades made with the Pre-dosed Neutral Base, reduce the dilutions by 10%.

Consumption and Yield: 45-50 ml/m² (per coat) depending on the roughness and absorbency of the substrate. To obtain exact consumption and yield, perform a test application.

Application conditions: Apply the product at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Maximum permissible relative humidity: 80%. Do not apply the product in direct sunlight, or on very hot surfaces, in strong winds, fog, rain or imminent rain, or with the risk of night frost.

Drying times: At +20°C and 65% Relative Humidity: touch dry 3-4 hours, recoat after 4 hours. In the presence of lower temperatures and/or higher air humidity the indicated times may increase considerably.

Cleaning tools: With water, immediately after use.

Warnings

Risks and safety advice: Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized persons.

Wash off any splashes immediately with plenty of water.

When spraying, do not breathe aerosols.

In case of accidental ingestion, consult a doctor urgently.

Contains: 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one; 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H) one.

May cause an allergic reaction. Safety data sheet available upon request. Disposal: Only emptied containers with product residues should be recycled. Liquid residues can be disposed of as water-soluble paints; dry residues can be disposed of as hardened paints or as household waste.

European limit value for the COV content of this product (cat. a/BA): 30 g/l (2010).

This product contains VOCs up to 15 g/l.
