Licalastic One is a water-based bituminous elastomer waterproofing compound containing inert fillers, additives, and resins. It offers high waterproofing properties, excellent adhesion, and high elasticity. Licalastic One is resistant to atmospheric agents, UV rays, and temporary waterlogging and can be left exposed or coated with cementitious mortars. Licalastic One is resistant to occasional foot traffic, is odorless, nonflammable, nontoxic, and solvent-free.

MAIN FIELDS OF USE Waterproofing and protection of:

- Concrete: foundations, cement surfaces in general, plaster,

  • Metal and glass,
  • Slated polymer-bitumen membranes or old bituminous membranes to be restored,
  • Plaster and plasterboard,
  • Wooden roofs,
  • Ceramic floors, bathrooms, showers, vases and planters.
  • Primer for laying:
  • Cement-based materials such as tile adhesives such as Flex Plus or Super S1, protective cement-based plasters for foundations, bonding insulation panels to porous substrates, diluted at 50%, it can be used as a dust-proof primer. Resistance to atmospheric agents, UV rays, and temporary water stagnation. Easy to apply: allows significant time and labor savings. Can be left exposed or coated with cement-based mortars. APPLICATION METHOD Substrate preparation Make sure that any detached, friable, or non-adherent parts, paint, rust, dust, and form-release oils are removed and surfaces must be solid and dry. Licalastic One can also be applied on slightly damp surfaces <4% substrate humidity. UNI EN 1504-2 UNI EN 14891 WHITE RED GREY GREEN The substrates to be treated must be mature and cured and must not have defects or irregularities that would require the application of excessive thicknesses of product and compromise regular drying. Waterproofing details with polymer-bitumen membranes must be carried out before installing the membrane (avoid reversing the installation steps). Check that there is no rising damp or counter-pressure of water. Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C; avoid extremes of heat and cold during application and drying of the film.
