The open RUBIFLEX planes and combs have an aluminium core of great lightness and resistance

The fixing between the plate and the sleeve is of great rigidity and is achieved by means of pressure pins which, once mounted, cannot be removed to guarantee the integrity of the instrument.
RUBIFLEX open-handled planers and combs feature a special, highly break-resistant steel blade and are protected against corrosion by a colorless varnish. Models with highly break-resistant stainless steel blades are also available.
