BIO-ACRYL is a special interior paint based on cork and lightweight aggregates for the thermal protection of surfaces. The special formulation with high-quality polymer emulsion, titanium dioxide, cork, and glass beads gives the product: ✓ High coverage ✓ Excellent washability ✓ Opacity (very low gloss) ✓ Easy application Available in 6 and 12-liter formats. Coverage approx. 9-12 square meters per liter.

HOW TO APPLY

Preparation of the substrate

ON NEW SUBSTRATES – Make sure the wall is dry and well-cured (at least 28 days). The product must be applied to dry, non-friable surfaces, free from salts and moisture. – Seal with a brush-on coat of primer for absorbent substrates and, after 24 hours, apply two coats of BIO-ACRIL.

ON ALREADY PAINTED AND/OR DETERIORATED SUBSTRATES – Make sure the wall is dry. – Mechanically remove any old paint and/or plaster residue that is not perfectly bonded to the substrate. – Fill any defects with suitable sealants. – Rough-coat any imperfections with suitable mortars and allow the treated areas to cure. – If mold or algae are present, treat the surface with specific biocidal sanitizers. – Seal with a brush coat of fixative for absorbent substrates and, after 24 hours, apply two coats of BIO-ACRIL.

Application and dilutions

BIO-ACRYL can be applied with a brush or roller. The product is ready to use and requires no dilution. If necessary, it can be diluted with 3-5% water, depending on the tool used.

IMPORTANT NOTE : The cork and glass beads, lighter than the other components, may migrate to the surface of the jar during storage. For this reason, it is recommended to mix the product thoroughly before use. New plasters must be allowed to cure for at least 4-6 weeks. Restorations must also be allowed to cure completely. Clean tools with water after use. Environmental and substrate conditions:

Ambient temperature: min. 10°C / max 35°C;

Relative humidity of the environment: < 80%;

Substrate temperature: min 5°C / max 40°C
