What is it for?

BetonFIP WP 610 FLEX It was designed and formulated to create a continuous coating suitable for waterproofing and protecting concrete and masonry structures. It has the ability to bridge cracks thanks to its high crack bridging ability. BetonFIP WP 610 FLEX It can be applied as a flexible coating for leveling crawl spaces and slightly degraded surfaces.

BetonFIP WP 610 FLEX It is used for waterproofing and protection of:

• hydraulic structures such as tanks, basins, cisterns, dam walls, pipelines, canals, tunnels, sewers, etc.;
• new or restored concrete structures with cement mortars from the line BetonFIP such as viaducts, tunnels, etc.;
• seaside structures;
• underground structures such as foundations, retaining walls, etc.;
• structures that have inadequate concrete cover.

Using BetonFIP WP 610 FLEX A continuous, waterproof, highly breathable, flexible coating is created on site. It is resistant to aggressive environmental agents, freeze-thaw cycles, and has high resistance to abrasion and impact. BetonFIP WP 610 FLEX is not suitable for vehicles.

Characteristics

• Good resistance to direct and indirect hydrostatic thrust ;
• Good ability to bridge crack states , “crack bridging ability” indicates the ability to guarantee continuity of the coating even in the presence of cracks;
• It protects reinforcements with low concrete cover from corrosion thanks to its high impermeability;
• Excellent resistance to aggressive environmental agents , thus guaranteeing great durability thanks to the extremely high impermeability which prevents the ingress of water, chlorides, carbon dioxide, etc.;
• Excellent resistance to freeze-thaw cycles , increases the durability of the intervention on concrete structures frequently exposed to low temperatures;
• High permeability to water vapour , the vapour generated inside the structure as the temperature varies evaporates through the coating, minimising tension at the interface;
• High abrasion resistance is an important requirement to ensure long durability in the case of solid transport, a recurring situation in various hydraulic structures;
• It is resistant to UV rays and can also be used as a finishing layer.
